Old School Kelly

We were living in AL and my daughter was about..2? My husband gave me a break from putting her to bed and I went downstairs to watch some TV. I landed on this new realty show, "American Idol" and decided to give it a try. I had sung my whole life and was really intrigued by how this worked. I went through a couple of people and was like, "okay.." And then Kelly came on. It was '40's/Standards week and she started singing. I love this genre and by the time she was done I was literally STANDING. I don't even remember getting to my feet. I was blown away. And that was it. I was and have been a fan ever since.
