American Idol bids farewell to judge Simon Cowell with a performance of the song "Together As One". Kelly Clarkson leads the performance singing with fellow winners Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Fantasia, Taylor Hicks, Kris Allen, and Jordan Sparks. Contestants from previous seasons join them in the tribute, and Simon himself comes on stage graciously thanking everyone for the experience while judging on American Idol.

As you all know, Kelly has been on tour in New Zealand, and on a stop in Auckland, she did this brilliant rendition of Keith Urban’s “Tonight I Wanna Cry” for a stunned New Zealand audience. Kelly is never afraid to help out and get her hands dirty. Last weekend, she spent her Saturday helping out “Loads for Life”, doing loads of laundry for families in need. The charity was started to provide free laundry service to families in need after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, and has since spread to the rest of the country.
