MUSIC makes me STRONGER
Working in a cubicle farm everyday can cause a person to go a bit crazy from time to time.
The way I cope is by taking trips to see my favorite artists, like KC, to relieve some of that work stress.
Much thanks to these talented artists for sharing their gifts with us, they truly make a large impact in our daily lives!
2147 Miles From Home
As of March of 2010, I had a falling out with three of my closest friends, this included my boyfriend at the time. It was tough trying to keep myself motivated toward pursuing my dreams. Depressed, I turned to my mom who told me what an inspiration I am to her. I had stood up for myself, and that's very important. She talked about my maturity, and mentioned a goal list I had sitting in my room. "You focus on you & that list."
For the next seven months, I threw myself at my goals, learning more about myself, & creating a website (www.2147miles.com) devoted to inspiring others when they are down. I put my goal list on it, a blog, & everything important to me.
In July, I fell in love with the most amazing man. However, there was one tiny problem - I was going to move from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Nashville, Tennessee that October to pursue my singing career. (And I still did.)
The experience was incredible, but very difficult. I spent three months alone, more than two thousand miles from home. I met some wonderful people and had some amazing experiences. One day, I'd love to own a home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Though I just recently returned home to Idaho (with a few contacts & more inspiration than I could possibly imagine), 2010 to 2011 was the most memorable and incredible year I've ever had and I know there will be many more like it. You really can keep going through tough times, even when it doesn't feel like it and it really does make you stronger.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Well sang Kelly. <3 You're my one and only idol!

Got a job
My 'Stronger' story:
I was unemployed in 2010. I was searching everywhere any kind of job and couldn't find it.
During the whole year I received bad comments and jokes at home...everybody saying I was unemployed that I was a nobody etc etc.
I started to study harder and harder..trying to find strengh while people were mocking me (mostly my family) for not having a job.
I was studying all day but my mother wouldn't believe it! She'd say: "You are not studying in your room..I bet you aren't!"
Then...finally...In August...I did an exam. It's one of the most difficults exams a graduated nurse can take and there were only 3 spots. I mean..Only 3 people that took the exam would be called to move forward. and I was one of them.
When I found out about it...I cried, flipped out and told my mother and other family members: "see? I did it!"
Now I have two jobs...I'm more confident about myself...and...
definetly feeling Stronger...
My Girl!
My wife Andrea always has made me stronger. I have suffered from severe depression for over 20 years. Some days/ months/ years have been tougher than others, however for the last 17 years, Andrea has helped me through it. No matter what I need, she is there for me. Could be a kick in the butt, a peck on the cheek, or a pat on the back. Whatever I need, she is there! I honestly don't know where I would be without her and her love and support. Thank you baby, for sticking with me, loving me, and making me Stronger!
Kelly Inspires Me
Many songs that Kelly sings inspires me daily... They tell me not to give up on myself or any of my friends... She is what I listen to when I am down or even wanna have some fun... I think that Kelly makes me a better person inside and out!
music
Music in general has made me stronger. Whether its country, pop, rap, jazz, rb, christian, rock, folk...the lyrics and the sound of instruments drive me, but the vocals move me! Kelly Clarkson and Reba Mcentire would be two of the strongest women i would know of. The message these two individuals create is so powerful and meaningful. Reba has pretty much done everything (music, movies, TV, books, clothing line, broadway, the list goes on and on) and broke ground for many women and men to say she has done it why couldn't I? and she does it with class and style and willinginess to take on whatever is thrown at her and make it her own. Kelly can sing her heart out and make you feel it like it was happening to or has happened to you. She has taken on her own critics and her own record labels and made what she thought was right, and did so very rightfully!! Both of these women have inspired me to be the person i would want to live like, honest, caring, treat people well, succeed in life as high as you take yourself to go, and if you are down just listen to their music and you will be inspired and grow and feel better! thank you
God
I have been through many difficulties in life, with people passing and being bullied at times, but there is always one person that has been there with me. That person is my God, I am very faithful and I pray to him whenever I can and I believe that he has blessed me and helped get me though certain circumstances. He gives me the strength to live each day and to become stronger.
Music
Another thing that has made me stronger is music. I listen to music everyday especially when i am going through something. I like all genres, but mostly ones that tell a story and are emotional. My favorite songs are the ones that can bring me to tears. I love Kelly for her music and for her lyrics and for her amazing voice. I have been a fan since Idol and will continue to be one. Forever and always a fan.
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly has made me believe that there is hope in the world. She makes me stronger.
